- Executive Engineer (Electrical / Civil): B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Civil Engineering with 55% marks along with 10 years of experience as Assistant Engineer (Level-7) OR 5 years of experience as Assistant Executive Engineer (Level-10).
- Assistant Librarian: Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with 55% marks, a consistently good academic record, and must qualify NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D.
- Assistant Registrar: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Public Relations Officer: Master’s Degree with 55% marks in Journalism and Mass Communication and 5 years of relevant media/editorial experience.
- Research Officer: Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the relevant field and 8 years of research experience.
- System Analyst: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics with 5 years of programming experience OR M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc Computer Science/MCA with 3 years of programming experience.

JNU Non-Teaching Selection Process Details
- Group A Positions: Selection will be made based on a Written Test (Paper-I & Paper-II) followed by an Interview/Personality Test. The weightage will be 70% for the written test and 30% for the interview stage.
- Group B and Group C Positions: Selection will be based purely on the merit of the Written Test and subsequent qualifying Skill/Typing/Stenography/Trade tests. There will be no interview for appointment to Group B and Group C posts.
- Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allocated per question for wrong answers in both Paper-I and Paper-II.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for General/EWS candidates and 35% for OBC (NCL), SC, ST, and PwD candidates in Paper I and Paper II.
