UPSSSC Junior Engineer Educational Qualification Criteria
Candidates must possess the mandatory qualifications on or before the closing date (07 October 2026):
- Mandatory Qualifying Score: Must have appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and possess a valid scorecard with positive (non-zero) marks.
- Essential Academic Qualifications:
- Passed High School Examination from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
- Must possess a 3-Year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent qualification approved by AICTE.
- Preferential Qualifications (Adhimani Aharta):
- Minimum 2 years of service in the Territorial Army.
- National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate.
UPSSSC Junior Engineer Pay Scale and Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration under the revised pay matrix rules of the Government of Uttar Pradesh:
- Pay Matrix Level: Pay Level-6 (Grade Pay ₹4,200/-)
- Pay Band Range: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800/- per month (Pre-revised) / Corresponding Level-6 in 7th CPC
