ICAI Branch In-Charge Educational Qualification Criteria
- Academic Degree: Must be a Graduate from a University, Deemed University, or Institution recognized by UGC, AICTE, or an appropriate statutory authority.
- Required Skill Sets:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with absolute proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and related computer applications.
- Effective administrative, managerial, conflict resolution, and organizational relationship abilities.

The salary package includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and National Pension System (NPS) contributions. Gratuity, Leave Travel Concession, and other standard service benefits apply additionally.

ICAI Branch In-Charge Selection Process Details
- Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT): An online evaluation assessing general aptitude, accounting, and technical competency. Candidates must secure at least 170 marks out of 425 to qualify.
- Stage 2: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview round based on written merit scores. Original credentials will be physically verified right before the interview. The minimum qualifying score for the interview is 30 marks.
- Final Allotment: The final selection list is compiled by aggregating the total marks obtained in the CBT and the Interview.
- Probation Period: Newly inducted officers will be placed on probation for a period of one year, which can be extended based on performance reviews.

The written examination is a single 3-hour session comprising a combination of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and descriptive components.
