UPSSSC Auditor and Assistant Accountant Application 2026: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow, has released an official recruitment advertisement (Advt No. 14-Exam/2026) for the Auditor (Lekha Parikshak) and Assistant Accountant (Sahayak Lekhakari) Main Examination (PET-2025)/15. At the preliminary registration stage, candidates only need to pay the category-wise online processing fee:

  • Unreserved / General Category: Rs. 25/-
  • Other Backward Class (OBC): Rs. 25/-
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): Rs. 25/-
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): Rs. 25/-
  • Dependents of Freedom Fighters / Ex-Servicemen / Women / PwBD / Outstanding Sportspersons: Processing fee is exactly the same as their original category listed above.
  • Note: The processing fee must be submitted through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI E-Challan. Main examination fees will be collected separately from short-listed candidates before downloading the admit card.

The Age will be calculated as of 1 July 2026

  • Mandatory Academic Degree: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a university established by law in India OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from a government-recognized university/institution.
  • Computer Qualification: Must possess an ‘O’ Level Diploma in computer operations from a government-recognized institute.
  • PET Score Eligibility: Must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) and hold a valid scorecard issued by UPSSSC. Candidates with zero, negative, or absolute marks below zero will not be shortlisted.
  • Pay Level: Almost all advertised positions carry Pay Level-5 benefits.
  • Pay Band Structures:
    • Structure A: Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,800/-
    • Structure B: Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,800/-
  • Mains Examination Shortlisting: Candidates will be selected for the main written exam based on their normalized PET-2025 scores. The commission will shortlist up to 15 times the number of vacant posts category-wise.
  • Final Merit Structure: Final selection will be strictly based on the score obtained by candidates in the Main Written Examination. There will be no interview stage for these Group ‘C’ ministerial positions.
  • Exam Shift: The written test will be conducted in a single shift.
  • Total Questions: 100 Questions
  • Maximum Marks: 100 Marks (Each question carries 1 mark).
  • Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
  • Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of 25% (i.e., 1/4th mark deduction) for each wrong answer.
