Bank of India Credit Officers Educational Qualification Criteria
- Basic Qualifications: Candidates must satisfy the minimum qualification and experience criteria fixed by the bank for the respective scales as of 01 June 2026. For Post-Wise Details, Click Here
- Marks Relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates applying for reserved categories get a 5% marks relaxation (i.e., minimum 55% instead of 60%) where minimum marks are stipulated.
- Fraction Policy: Marks calculations must be rounded up to two decimal places; fractions will be ignored (e.g., 59.99% counts as less than 60%).
- Application Limitation: A candidate can apply for only one post. If multiple entries are registered, only the latest completed form is considered.
Bank of India Credit Officers Pay Scale and Salary Structure
Selected candidates receive the basic pay along with other applicable allowances and perquisites:
- Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II): Rs. 64820 – 2340(1) – 67160 – 2680(10) – 93960.
- Middle Management Grade Scale-III (MMGS-III): Rs. 85920 – 2680(5) – 99320 – 2980(2) – 105280.

Bank of India Credit Officers Selection Process Details
- Initial Screening: Shortlisting will initially be done based on the eligibility documents uploaded during online registration.
- Process Mode: Selection will be done via an Online Written Test and/or a Personal Interview phase, depending on the number of eligible applicants.
- Final Merit weightage: If both rounds are conducted, the final score weightage ratio of the Online Exam to the Interview will be 70:30.
- Tie-Breaking Rule: In case candidates score equal marks, the candidate senior in age will be placed higher in the merit sequence.
- Security Deposit: Selected candidates must deposit a security amount refundable after 3 years of satisfactory service: Rs. 2,00,000/- for MMGS-II and Rs. 3,00,000/- for MMGS-III & SMGS-IV scales.
Bank of India Credit Officers Exam Pattern and Written Test Syllabus

- Qualifying Nature: The English Language section marks will be of a qualifying nature and will not be counted towards the main merit list.
- Minimum Pass Percentage: General/EWS candidates require a minimum of 35% qualifying marks in each test section. SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates receive a 5% relaxation (minimum 30%).
- Penalty for Wrong Answers: There is a penalty of one-fourth (0.25) of the assigned marks for every incorrect answer. Unanswered questions attract no penalty.
- Language Medium: The questions will be bilingual (English and Hindi), except for the English language paper.

- Choose the option “Click here for New Registration” and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email ID to generate your unique Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Fill in all the active fields, save the progress using the “Save & Next” option, and upload your passport-sized photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
- Verify all entered fields using the “Preview” tab before hitting the “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” option.
