The total fee structure includes a processing fee of ₹47.20/- charged by CSC-SPV under the Digital India initiative:

• Payment Mode: Online via net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI. Candidates without digital payment options can visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
• Fee Policy: Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. Applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.

Upper Age Relaxations:

• SC / ST Category Applicants: Relaxable by 5 years (up to 43 Years).
• OBC / MOBC Category Applicants: Relaxable by 3 years (up to 41 Years).
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Relaxable by 10 years across all categories.
• Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age limit is 50 years for the Unreserved category, which is further relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Note: Age proof will be verified solely based on the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet issued by a recognized board where the Date of Birth is clearly reflected.

Note: Horizontal reservations within the overall vacancies include 1 post for Ex-Servicemen each in Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil streams. PwBD reservation consists of 1 post for Hearing Impaired (HI) each in Electrical and Mechanical branches, and 1 post for Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) in the Civil branch.

APSC Assam Junior Manager Educational Qualification Criteria

Candidates must possess the required engineering qualifications as of the application deadline.

• General Domicile Proof: Must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. Candidates must upload a copy of a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes OR a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as residency proof.
• Minimum Marks in Diploma: A full-time minimum 3-year Diploma course in Engineering after HSLC (or equivalent) is required, with at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC & ST candidates, the minimum marks requirement is 50%. Alternatively, a 2-year (Base) + 2-years (Diploma) lateral entry course from an AICTE-approved institution is also valid.

Stream-Wise Diploma Specializations:

• Junior Manager (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Junior Manager (Mechanical): Full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Junior Manager (Civil): Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Junior Manager (Information Technology): Full-time Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Technology.
• Junior Manager (Instrumentation): Full-time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.

APSC Assam Junior Manager Pay Scale and Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be placed on the regular pay matrix of the Assam State Government with admissible allowances:

• Pay Scale Range: ₹25,000/- to ₹92,000/- per month.
• Grade Pay: ₹12,100/- per month.
• Allowances: Admissible usual allowances as carrying under the Rules of the Government of Assam.

• Selection Scheme: The detailed selection procedure will be notified later by the Commission through an addendum or corrigendum. APSC will determine whether to hold a Screening Test, Written Examination, or direct Interview based on the volume of applications received.
• Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a mandatory declaration regarding the “Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of online application.
• Zonal Centers: Depending on candidate volume, written tests or screening exams may be conducted zone-wise across 6 zones covering various districts: Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Tezpur, Nagaon, Jorhat, and Silchar.
• Identity Verification: Candidates must produce a valid original photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) during the exam and interview stages.
