  • PwBD Horizontal Quota: Out of total posts, 2 positions in Junior Commercial Executive, 2 positions in Junior Assistant (Accounts), and 1 position in Junior Assistant (General) are reserved for PwBD candidates.

Qualifications must be obtained from recognized universities, institutes, or boards approved by the Government of India.

Mandatory Educational Background:

  • Assistant Manager (Official Language): Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, having studied English as a subject up to graduation level. Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a reputed organization.
  • Assistant Manager (Information Technology): MCA or B.E./B.Tech in IT or Computer Science OR an MBA/PGDM with specialization in IT/Systems with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Must have 1 year of experience holding a responsible position in a reputed public or private organization.
  • Management Trainee (Marketing): MBA in Agri-Business Management or a related Agriculture Management equivalent degree.
  • Management Trainee (Accounts): Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
  • Junior Commercial Executive: B.Sc. Agriculture from any recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% marks for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates).
  • Junior Assistant (Accounts): B.Com degree from any recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% marks for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates).
  • Junior Assistant (General): Any Graduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% marks for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates).

Selected candidates receive salaries under the Industrial DA (IDA) pattern along with associated allowances:

  • Assistant Manager (Official Language / IT): ₹40,000 – 1,40,000/- (IDA Pay Scale).
  • Management Trainee (Marketing / Accounts): ₹30,000 – 1,20,000/- (IDA Pay Scale).
  • Junior Commercial Executive / Junior Assistants: ₹22,000 – 90,000/- (IDA Pay Scale).
  • Probation Period: Appointed candidates will serve a probation phase of 12 months (1 Year) of active service from their formal date of joining.
  • Service Bond: Selected candidates must execute a mandatory service bond to serve the corporation for a minimum period of 3 years after joining, or in lieu thereof, pay 3 months’ basic pay.
  • Placement & Transfer: Appointed candidates can be posted in different cotton-growing areas across India. In the case of Junior Commercial Executives, postings will predominantly be in rural and remote market yards.
  • Selection Stages: The primary evaluation consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by Document Verification and a final Medical Examination.
  • Minimum Qualifying Percentage in CBT: To clear the written computer-based test, candidates must secure the following minimum marks:
    • General, EWS, and OBC Candidates: 40% marks.
    • SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen Candidates: 35% marks.
  • Tie-Breaking Metric: In case multiple candidates secure identical marks, the candidate with the latest registration number will be prioritized.
  • Work Experience Validation: Only those past job experiences will be counted where salary payments were routed via cheque or NEFT (supported by bank passbooks showing statutory deductions like PF). Cash salary experiences are rejected.

The written online paper for all advertised post codes consists of 120 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be attempted within a duration of 120 Minutes.

  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 1 mark, while a penalty of one-fourth (0.25) mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
  • Core Question Distribution: For technical and specialized posts (Post Codes 101 to 106), the exam is divided into standard general aptitudes and a core subject knowledge block:
    • Unit-I (General English): 10 to 15 Questions.
    • Unit-II (Reasoning Analysis): 10 to 15 Questions.
    • Unit-III (Quantitative Aptitude): 15 Questions.
    • Unit-IV (General Knowledge): 10 to 15 Questions.
    • Unit-V (Computer Proficiency – where applicable): 15 Questions.
    • Unit-VI (Subject / Domain Knowledge): 60 Questions.
  • Junior Assistant (General) Structure: General English (20 Qs), Reasoning (20 Qs), Quantitative Aptitude (25 Qs), General Knowledge (25 Qs), and Basic Computer Proficiency (30 Qs).

  • Examination Cities: Test venues will be allocated across 11 designated cities: Mumbai/Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Patna, and Jaipur. No requests for a change of exam city will be entertained.
