SPSC Sikkim Village Level Worker Educational Qualification Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the minimum prescribed academic qualification on or before the closing date of application:

Basic Degree: Must possess a minimum qualification of B.Sc. Agriculture or B.Sc. Horticulture from an Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) recognized University or Institute.
Specialized Requirement: Those possessing an M.Sc. in any discipline of Agriculture or Horticulture should mandatorily possess a B.Sc. Agriculture or Horticulture.
Status Alert: Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply in terms of Notification No. 177/GEN/DOP dated 29.01.2026.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and speak in one of the State languages and must be conversant with local customs and traditions of Sikkim.
Required Documents: Must possess Sikkim Subject Certificate/COI, valid Local Employment Card, Category Certificate, NOC (if employed), and Marital Status certificate (for female candidates) during online submission.

Pay Matrix Range: Level 9 of the Pay Matrix in the Sikkim State Subordinate Agriculture Service.

Written Examination: Selection relies entirely on the performance in the Written Examination.
