Horizontal Reservation Note: Special sub-quota reservations are integrated for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Sports Persons and Artisans of Excellence (SPAE), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and Paramilitary Forces & Assam Rifles (PFAR) as per government guidelines. 1. Academic Parameters

  • Must have passed Class XII (12th) or its equivalent from any recognized Board.
  • Must have studied and passed Mathematics as one of the core subjects at the Class X (10th) standard level.

2. Technical & Computer Knowledge

  • Must possess basic knowledge of computer applications
  • Must hold a valid certificate or diploma demonstrating completion of at least a 03 (three) months basic course in computer applications or a higher qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized board or university.

3. Language & Local Conditions

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in at least one of the recognized State languages.
  • Must be well-conversant with the local customs and traditional heritage of Sikkim.

Note: All required qualifications, including education and age benchmarks, must be fulfilled as on the closing date of application. Candidates who are awaiting their final year results are explicitly not eligible to apply.

  • Regular Allocation Scale: Level 7 of the official Pay Matrix of the Sikkim Sub Ordinate Accounts Service.
  • Probationary Scale Rule: During the initial periods of Probation, Apprenticeship, or Training, the regular pay scale will be governed by separate specific governmental notifications.

The direct recruitment procedure incorporates consecutive evaluation stages as follows:

  • Written Examination (Objective / Descriptive pattern based on Appendix I)
  • Release of Merit List
  • Scrutiny of Documents & Credentials (for candidates qualifying the written test)

Note: Admission to the written test is purely provisional. If any candidate is found to have suppressed facts or failed eligibility filters at any subsequent scrutiny stage, their selection will be cancelled without prior notice.

  • Local Target Rule: This recruitment drive is open only to eligible local candidates of Sikkim.
  • Identity Mandate: Candidates must carry an authentic original photo identity proof document (like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, or Driving License) along with their printed e-Admit Card to be allowed inside the examination hall.
  • No Allowances: No travelling allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be paid by the Commission for appearing in the examination.
  • Valid Sikkim Subject Certificate OR a Certificate of Identification (COI) issued by the competent authority.
  • Valid Local Employment Card issued by the Government of Sikkim.
  • Category / Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of Sikkim (if applying under a reserved section).
  • Formal No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Head of Department if currently employed in a government job.
  • Marital Status certificate (for female applicants). In the case of married female candidates, the COI or Sikkim Subject Certificate of the husband must be attached.
