JKSSB Draftsman & Works Supervisor Educational Qualification Criteria
Candidates must possess the relevant qualifications on or before the cut-off date (30 August 2026):
- Draftsman (Civil): Must have a 2-year Draftsman Training Course Certificate or Diploma from a government-recognized institute.
- Works Supervisor: Must be a Matriculation (10th) Examination Pass or its equivalent from a recognized institute/university. Additionally, candidates must hold an ITI Certificate in Building Construction or Carpentry Trade issued/awarded by the J&K Board of Technical Education (JKBOTE) or the Director General of Training, GoI.
- Domicile Mandate: Candidates must be Domiciles of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued on or before 30 August 2026.
JKSSB Draftsman & Works Supervisor Post-Wise Salary Scales
- Draftsman (Civil) [Item Nos. 93 & 94]: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100).
- Works Supervisor [Item Nos. 95 & 96]: Pay Level SL-2 (Rs. 15,900 – 50,400).
JKSSB Draftsman & Works Supervisor Selection Process Details
- Selection Scheme: The selection for all the advertised posts will be made strictly based on merit obtained in the written/OMR examination only.
- Examination Format: The examination will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions set in the English language only.
- Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking penalty of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question for every wrong answer marked.
- Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written scores must appear for Document Verification with original educational, category, and domicile certificates.
