Selected candidates on final allocation will draw regular scale pay bands under the standard 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) norms:

The competitive shortlisting and final evaluation framework operates under the following criteria:

  • Associate Professor Selection Framework: No written examination shall be conducted for the post of Associate Professor. Selection shall be made through prescribed shortlisting, assessment criteria (Video presentation, Research skill, and PPT presentation), and a formal interview process.
  • Assistant Professor Shortlisting Examination: Written tests consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Descriptive tests to assess Research Aptitude and Writing Skills will be conducted only for shortlisting purposes.
  • Exemption Clause for Written Test: In cases where the total number of eligible candidates for a single subject is less than 20, the university may completely dispense with the examination and call the eligible candidates directly for the domain knowledge assessment and interview rounds.
  • Examination Centres: Candidates can choose any one of the notified examination cities: Delhi, Mumbai/Pune, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. Candidates applying for multiple posts must choose the exact same examination city to avoid schedule overlaps.
  • Tenure Mandate at Initial Campus: The posts advertised are campus-specific. Selected candidates are strictly required to serve at their initial place of posting for a minimum mandatory period of 10 years. Requests for transfer on personal grounds during this duration will not be considered.
  • OBC Certificate Cut-off Validity: Valid NCL-OBC certificates must be issued on or after April 01, 2026. Certificates issued before this cut-off date will be treated as invalid for this recruitment cycle.
  • EWS Roster Provision: If a suitable EWS candidate is not available, general candidates applied against EWS vacancies will be considered for selection, subject to guidelines.
  • Medium of Instruction: The primary medium of instruction in the university is Sanskrit. However, teaching duties may also be conducted in Hindi and/or English depending on the program requirements.
  • No Correction Window: No option or window to edit the online form will be provided after final electronic submission. All data parameters must be verified carefully before clicking submit.
  • High School Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Degree transcripts, graduation certificates, and mark sheets of qualifying examinations
  • Authentic certificates proving a valid NET qualification or a Ph.D. degree completion
  • Clear copies of research publications, articles, seminar papers, and workshop transcripts
  • Valid Caste/Class Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued in the prescribed Central Government format
  • Valid digitally verifiable NCL-OBC Certificate issued on or after April 1, 2026
  • Valid Income and Assets Certificate for the EWS category issued for the current financial year
  • Valid Disability Certificate with not less than 40% impairment for PwBD claims
  • Valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance Certificate from the current employer for working candidates
