Applicants must completely hold the required academic certifications before the final eligibility deadline:

  • Probationary Officer (PO): Must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • Final Year Candidates: Candidates who are in their Final Year or Semester of Graduation may also apply provisionally. If shortlisted for the interview, they must produce authentic proof of having passed their graduation examination on or before September 30, 2026.
  • Professional Qualifications: Candidates possessing professional degrees such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant (CA), or Cost Accountant are also fully eligible.

Selected candidates on final allocation will draw regular scale pay packets alongside premium allowances under bank regulations:

The online recruitment structure comprises a multiple-phase screening process:

  • Penalty for Wrong Answers: Objective tests carry a penalty where 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every incorrect option selected. No penalty is applied for questions left blank.
  • Shortlisting Ratio: Candidates numbering approximately 10 times the vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the Main Exam from the Preliminary Exam merit list.

Phase-I: Online Preliminary Examination (100 Marks)

  • Exam Duration: 1 Hour (Separate timing of 20 minutes for each section).

    2. Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Questions

  • Note: Sectional cut-offs apply to individual tests, and aggregate cut-offs apply for Phase-III shortlisting (up to 3 times the category vacancies).

Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercises & Interview (50 Marks)

  • Psychometric Test: Mandatory personality profiling test for all shortlisted candidates.
  • Group Exercises: Evaluated out of 20 Marks.
  • Personal Interview: Evaluated out of 30 Marks.
  • Maximum Chances Limitation: Permissible absolute attempts for direct direct entry:
    • General / EWS: 6 Chances
    • General (PwBD) / EWS (PwBD) / OBC / OBC (PwBD): 9 Chances
    • SC / ST (including PwBD): No Restriction
    • Note: Appearing in the Phase-II Main Exam is counted as an attempt; appearing in the Prelims is not counted.
  • CIBIL Score Filter: Candidates must have a clean credit history. Any default on credit cards or loans must be fully regularized or paid off on or before the date of joining. Satisfactory proof or NOC must be provided.
  • Service Indemnity Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service bond for a value of Rs. 2.00 Lacs to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years.
  • Biometric Verification: Fingerprint and Iris scan authentication will be conducted at multiple selection stages. Application of Mehandi, chemical ink, or color on hands is banned.
  • Valid printout of system-generated online application form
  • Authentic Photo Identity Proof in original along with a self-attested photocopy (e.g., Aadhaar, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License)
  • High School matriculation marks card or degree serving as authentic age/DOB token
