Ans: The board has officially rostered 1979 positions across multiple Group B and Group C teaching, scientific assistant, administrative, and technical profiles.

Q 2: Can candidates belonging to the OBC category from states outside Delhi claim reservation benefits?

Ans: No. Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi will be granted reservation benefits. OBC candidates from outside Delhi will be treated as Unreserved (UR) profiles and must apply under the UR category.

Q 3: Is there a provision for negative marking for wrong entries recorded in the computer-based exam?

Ans: Yes. The objective exams utilize a strict negative marking matrix where each wrong choice triggers a deduction of 0.25 marks from the aggregate score.

Q 5: How are rankings resolved if two or more candidates score equal aggregate marks in a technical/teaching exam?

Ans: Roster ties are broken sequentially: priority goes to the candidate securing higher marks in the subject-specific domain section (Section-B), followed by seniority in age, and finally by alphabetical order of the candidates’ first names in English.
