OSPCB Junior Research Fellow, Lab Technician & Field Assistant Application 2026: The State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB), Odisha, has released an official recruitment advertisement (Ref. No.: 10864) for temporary project-based vacancies. Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Lab Technician, and Field Assistant under OSPCB-funded Fly Ash Consortium research projects at the R&D Wing, Coastal Management Cell, Bhubaneswar. Candidates must fulfill the minimum qualifications as of the application submission date:

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc. degree with a minimum of 60% marks in Chemistry or Environmental Science from a recognized University/Institute, along with good computer knowledge.
  • Lab Technician (LT): B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Field Assistant (FA): B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute.

Selected candidates will receive monthly consolidated remuneration as follows:

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹27,000/- per month + 16% HRA (as admissible).
  • Lab Technician (LT): ₹18,000/- per month (Consolidated).
  • Field Assistant (FA): ₹18,000/- per month (Consolidated).
  • Shortlisting & Interview: Selection will be strictly based on candidate credentials, educational qualifications, and performance in the Personal Interview.
  • Interview Intimation: The exact date, time, and venue for the interview will be sent directly to shortlisted candidates via email.
  • No TA/DA: No Traveling Allowance or Daily Allowance will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.
  • Resignation Clause: In case an engaged candidate tenders resignation or quits before the project completion, she/he must provide a one-month prior notice, failing which one-month salary will be deducted or deposited.

  • Fill in all your personal details, academic marks from 10th standard onwards, experience entries, and contact info in block letters.
  • Affix a recent passport-size color photograph in the designated box on the application form.
  • Self-attest photocopies of all supporting documents, including educational certificates, mark sheets, age proof (10th certificate), category certificates, experience certificates, and valid photo ID (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Driving License).
  • Scan the filled application form (Annexure-I) along with all self-attested documents into a single readable PDF file.
  • Send the email with the subject line formatted as: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _________ along with Advertisement No. and Date” to research@ospcboard.org on or before 31 July 2026 (05:30 PM).
  • Note: Original documents must be presented for physical verification during the interview session.
