Candidates must fulfill all specified educational qualifications on or before the closing date of application submission:

  • Degree Requirement: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Fishery Science (B.F.Sc.) from a recognized University in India or abroad.
  • Fishery Registration: Must possess a valid Fishery Registration Certificate.
  • Odia Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia, and must have passed at least Middle School / Class-VII / Matriculation with Odia as a language subject or medium of examination.
  • Pay Scale: ₹44,900/- per month (Level-10 of Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017).
  • Allowances: Admissible usual Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Selection will be conducted through a competitive two-stage examination process:

  1. Written Examination: Objective-type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination carrying a total of 800 Marks.
  2. Interview (Viva Voce Test): Shortlisted candidates (approx. 2 times the advertised vacancies) will be called for an interview carrying 100 Marks.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Verification of original certificates before final appointment.

  • Marking Scheme: Each question carries 2 marks. There is NO negative marking for wrong answers.

  • Click on “Apply Online” and complete the user registration process on the portal.
  • Upon successful registration, a unique Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN) will be generated.
  • Fill in all personal details, SC/ST category data, B.F.Sc. qualification marks, and Odia test details accurately.
  • Upload clear scanned images of your recent passport-size photograph, full signature, Left-Hand Thumb Impression (LTI), and supporting documents (B.F.Sc. degree, marksheets, caste certificate, etc.).
  • Review your entries and submit the online application form before the deadline (24 August 2026, 05:00 PM).
  • Print a copy of the completed application form (PPSAN printout) and keep it safe for submission during Document Verification.
