⚠️ Probation Terms Condition: Newly appointed candidates will serve a mandatory 3-year probation period. During this time, they will receive only the consolidated ‘Minimum Admissible Pay’ without any Grade Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), or annual increments, except for standard traveling allowance (TA) and medical reimbursements.

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Online multiple-choice written examination to evaluate candidates’ core technical knowledge and general skills.
  2. Mandatory Punjabi Test (For Group-C Posts): A separate qualifying language screening where scoring 50% marks is compulsory.
  3. Physical Fitness Standard Check (Only for Fireman Post): Qualified candidates in the written exam must clear standard physical fitness tests.

Male and female candidates applying for the Fireman cadre must satisfy these physical measurement parameters and fitness standards:

1. Physical Measurements Checklist

  • Height Requirement (Male): 5 Feet 5 Inches minimum.
  • Chest Dimension (Male Only): 33.5 Inches (Unexpanded) and must expand up to 35 Inches.

2. Practical Fitness Endurance Standards

  • Weight Lifting Run: Candidates must lift 60 Kgs of stones and run a distance of 100 Yards within exactly 1 Minute.
  • Ladder Test: Lifting a hook ladder to a vertical position starting from the 3rd and 6th rounds.
  • Rope Climbing: Climbing up a vertical pipe or continuous rope to a height of 8 to 10 Feet from the ground surface.
  • Exam Mode: Computer-Based online objective test (CBT).
