Who Should Apply for the UPSSSC Teacher Cadre?

Trained Undergraduate (JTC Grade) Teachers of Signal Deaf and Dumb Schools
  1. Must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
  2. Diploma in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) from an Institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Government of India.
  3. Knowledge of reading and writing in Hindi/English and in sign language.
  4. Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as a Special Teacher in teaching the hearing impaired.
Trained Craft (Music) Teacher (JTC Grade) (Junior Pay Scale) for Schools for the Blind
  1. Must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, with Music as one of the subjects or an examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto or an equivalent Diploma in Music.
  2. Diploma in Special Education (Vision Impairment) from an Institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Government of India.
  3. Knowledge of reading and writing in Hindi/English in the Braille system.
  4. Rehabilitation Council of India as a Special Educator for teaching the visually impaired. Registration in (RCI).
Trained Undergraduate Teachers (JTC) (Junior Scale) for Schools for the Touch-impaired
  1. Must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, with Music as one of the subjects or an examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto or an equivalent Diploma in Music.

    UPSSSC Teacher Cadre Syllabus / Exam Pattern

      • There are a total of 100 MCQs of 100 marks
      • The written exam has 3 parts.
      • Part A Subjective knowledge has 65 MCQs of 65 marks.
      • Part B Computer and IT has 15 MCQs of 15 marks.
      • Part C UP General Knowledge has 20 MCQs of 20 marks.
      • Total Exam duration is 2 hours.
      • There will be a negative marking of 1/4 for every wrong answer.
