The candidate must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institute.
Preference: Minimum 2 Years Service in the Territorial Army. OR
NCC ‘B’ Certificate, OR
Minimum 3 years of continuous work in the Home Guard Organisation.

The written exam has 3 parts.
Part A Subjective knowledge has 65 MCQs of 65 marks.
Part B Computer and IT has 15 MCQs of 15 marks.
Part C UP General Knowledge has 20 MCQs of 20 marks.
Total Exam duration is 2 hours.
There will be a 1/4 negative mark for each wrong answer.
