RTMNU Assistant Professor Educational Qualification Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all minimum academic qualifications on or before 10 August 2026:
1. General Disciplines (Arts, Science, Commerce, Humanities, Law, Education, Social Sciences, etc.):
- Master’s Degree: Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant/allied subject from an Indian or foreign university. (5% relaxation provided for SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/PwD candidates and Ph.D. degree holders who obtained Master’s before 19th Sept 1991).
- National / State Test: Must have cleared NET (conducted by UGC/CSIR) or SET/SLET accredited test.
- Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC 2009/2016 regulations are exempted from NET/SET requirements. Alternatively, a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the Top 500 World University Rankings (QS/THE/ARWU) qualifies.
2. Business Management Stream:
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline + First Class Master’s Degree in MBA / PGDM / C.A. / ICWA / M.Com + Minimum 2 years of professional experience after Master’s degree.
3. Pharmaceutical Sciences Stream:
- Essential: Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) + Registration as a pharmacist under Pharmacy Law + First Class Master’s Degree (M. Pharm) in the appropriate branch.
4. Inter Institutional Computer Centre (MCA):
- Essential: B.E. / B.Tech / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech / M.S. (First Class in any one) OR B.E. / B.Tech and MCA with First Class OR Graduation with Mathematics + First Class MCA + 2 years relevant experience.
RTMNU Assistant Professor Pay Scale and Salary Structure
- Position Type: Purely Contractual Appointment for Academic Session 2026–2027.
- Fixed Monthly Salary: Consolidated salary of ₹40,000/- per month.
- Leaves Allowed: Selected candidates are permitted to avail a maximum of 8 casual leaves during the academic session. No other allowances or perks apply.

Selection to the contractual Assistant Professor posts will be executed through direct screening and interview:
