Who Should Apply for the GPSSB Gujarat Additional Assistant Engineer?

• Candidates must have Diploma in Electrical Engineering obtained from the Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government:
• Provided that the candidate holding a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.
• A candidate shall possess the basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
• A candidate shall possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, or both.
