Belagavi DCC Bank SDC, Gun Man & Peon Educational Qualification Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all minimum academic qualification norms on or before the application deadline (27 August 2026):
- Second Division Clerks (SDC):
- Graduation Degree in B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. from a recognized University established by law in India.
- Must possess knowledge of Computer Operations and Applications (Basic computer course certificate required, unless computer was studied as a subject during degree).
- Gun Man:
- SSLC / 10th Pass or equivalent examination.
- Must be an Ex-Serviceman retired from the Indian Armed Forces.
- Must possess a valid Arms License.
- Peons:

Selection will be conducted in accordance with Rule 18(C) of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Rules, 1960:
- Written Examination: Conducted by an external agency.
- For SDC Posts: Written test for 200 Marks covering Kannada (50), English (25), General Knowledge (25), Co-operation (50), Indian Constitution (25), and Bank Operations (25).
- For Peon & Gun Man Posts: Written test for 100 Marks covering Kannada (50) and General Knowledge (50).
- Oral Interview: Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies (1:5 ratio) will be shortlisted for the interview based on written test merit. Interview carries 15 Marks.
- Final Merit Selection: Prepared by combining Written Exam marks (scaled down to 85%) + Interview marks (15 Marks) following reservation rules.
