Candidates must fulfill all required criteria on or before 24 August 2026:

  1. Academic Qualification: Must possess an MBBS Degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Foreign Medical Graduates must have passed FMGE conducted by NBE.
  2. Internship: Must have completed compulsory rotating internship on or before 24 August 2026 and produce an Internship Completion Certificate.
  3. Passing Date Limit: MBBS (including Internship) must have been completed not earlier than 3 years prior to 24 August 2026.
  4. Registration: Must possess valid registration with NMC or any State Medical Council.
  5. Prior JR Experience Restriction: Candidates who have already completed two terms (6 months per term = 1 year total) of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) anywhere (AIIMS or outside) are NOT ELIGIBLE.
  • Pay Scale (7th CPC): Level 10 of the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-3: ₹15,600 – ₹39,100 + Grade Pay ₹5,400/-).
  • Allowances: Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) for medical graduates plus applicable central government allowances.
  • Private Practice: Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited.

Selection to the Junior Resident posts will be carried out through a structured evaluation:

  1. Mandatory Online Registration: Candidates must register online before the deadline. Unregistered candidates will not be permitted for the written test or interview.
  2. Document Verification: Verification of original MBBS marksheets, degree/internship certificates, council registration, category certificates, and Demand Draft on the day of the exam.
  3. Written Examination & Personal Interview: Based on reporting, a written screening test will be conducted. The final selection merit list will be prepared based on performance in the Personal Interview of candidates who qualify in the written exam.
  • Step 1 (Online Registration): Visit the official link Google Registration Form published on the AIIMS Kalyani portal. Fill in personal details, upload MBBS marksheets, attempt certificates, internship completion certificate, registration certificate, photo, and a scanned copy of the Demand Draft. Submit the form before 24 August 2026 (5:00 PM).
  • Step 2 (Demand Draft Preparation): Get a Demand Draft of ₹1,000/- (UR/OBC) or ₹500/- (SC/ST/EWS) drawn in favor of “AIIMS KALYANI INTERNAL RESOURCES ACCOUNT” payable at Kalyani.
  • Step 3 (Offline Walk-In): On the day of the Written Exam/Interview (08 September 2026), report to the Auditorium Building, AIIMS Kalyani along with:
    • The physical Demand Draft.
    • Filled hard-copy application form annexed in the notification.
    • Original certificates (10th/12th, MBBS Marksheets, Degree, Internship Certificate, NMC Registration, Attempt Certificate, Caste/EWS Certificate).
