AIIMS Bathinda Faculty Educational Qualification & Experience Criteria
Essential qualifications and experiences are governed as recognized by the NMC/MCI/Govt. of India:
- Medical Candidates: Must possess a recognized medical qualification (e.g., MBBS), a Master’s degree in the discipline (MD/MS) or M.Ch/DM for super-specialties, and required teaching/research experience post-qualification as per NMC norms.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Must possess a Master’s degree and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in the respective discipline with prescribed post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience.
- Experience Reckoning: Experience will be counted strictly after obtaining the essential qualifying degree.
AIIMS Bathinda Faculty Pay Scale and Salary Structure
Selected candidates on Direct Recruitment basis will be placed in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix:

AIIMS Bathinda Faculty Selection Process Details
- Scrutiny of Applications: Submitted applications and fee receipts will be evaluated by the Scrutiny Committee.
- Shortlisting / Screening Test: If the number of applicants is large, shortlisting criteria or a written screening test may be conducted.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a physical interview before the Standing Selection Committee at AIIMS Bathinda. No online/virtual interview (Skype/Zoom) requests will be entertained.
- Document Verification: Verification of original marksheets, degree certificates, experience letters, and NOC on the day of the interview.
