QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SOCIAL WORKER MEMBERS OF THE JUVENILE JUSTICE BOARD:
- shall have a degree, preferably, in child psychology or psychiatry or sociology or health sciences or education or in the field of law from any recognised Indian University.
- shall have at least seven years of experience working with children in the field of education, health or welfare activities or should be a practising professional with a degree in the field of child psychology or psychiatry, sociology or law.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE CHILD WELFARE COMMITTEE:
- Should have a Degree, preferably in child psychology, psychiatry, law, social work, sociology, human health, education, human development, medicine, or special education for differently abled children, from any recognised Indian University.
- Shall have a minimum of seven years of experience working with children in the field of health, education or welfare activities about children or should be a practising professional with a degree in child psychology or psychiatry, law, social work, sociology, human health, education, human development or special education for differently abled children.
