Who Should Apply for the NCL Assistant Foreman?

Assistant Foreman (E&T) (Trainee) Grade-C

• Candidates should passed Matriculate or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination; &
• Have a Diploma or a relevant and higher qualification (Minimum 3-year course) in Electronics Engineering from any institute recognized by the Government.

Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) (Trainee) Grade-C

• Candidates should passed Matriculate or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination; &
• Have a Diploma or relevant and higher qualification (Minimum 3 years course) in Mechanical Engineering from any institute recognized by the Government

Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) Grade-C

• Candidates should passed Matriculate or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination; &
• Have a Diploma or a relevant and higher qualification (Minimum 3 years course) in Electrical Engineering from any institute recognized by the Government.

NCL Assistant Foreman Salary Details

• Basic Pay: Rs. 47330.25 per month
• Pay Scale: Minimum of (Monthly rated) Grade-C
• Training Period: One Year for E&T cadre and Two Years for other cadres.

NCL Assistant Foreman Syllabus / Exam Pattern

• For this post, a computer-based test will be conducted. This exam has 100 MCQs of 100 Marks. Exam duration is 90 minutes.
• Section ‘A’ will consist of technical knowledge (discipline-related) with 70 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
• Section ‘B’ will consist of General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude with 30 marks multiple choice questions (MCQs)
• Each question will carry 01 mark, and there is no penalty for a wrong answer.
• Minimum qualifying marks for UR/EWS is 50% and 40% for other categories.
