Who Should Apply for the MPSC Maharashtra Group C Services Main Examination?
Industrial Inspector, for other categories except the Group-C category, a degree from a recognised university or a qualification recognised as equivalent to a degree by the Government of Maharashtra.
The educational qualification for Industrial Inspector, Group-C cadre will be as follows: (a) Degree in Engineering (excluding Civil Engineering and subjects related to the groups of subjects in Civil Engineering, such as Architecture, Town Planning, etc.) or at least Diploma in Technology from a statutory university, or (b) Degree from a statutory university in a science discipline.
Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the Diploma/Degree will be eligible for admission in the preliminary examination. However, if they are declared eligible for the main examination, it will be mandatory to pass the Diploma/Degree examination by the last date of submission of the required application/information in the prescribed manner for admission to the main examination.
Diploma/degree holders who require internship or practical work experience in a workshop should have fulfilled this condition by the prescribed date of acceptance of application/information for the main examination.
Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.
