Jharkhand JCECEB B.Ed Application 2026: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has officially released a notification for the B.Ed/M.Ed /B.P.Ed Entrance Competitive Examination – 2026. The Online application starts from 25 February 2026. Interested candidates can fill out the Jharkhand JCECEB B.Ed online form till 7 April 2026. Who Should Apply for the Jharkhand JCECEB B.Ed?

• Candidate with at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC PWD & other reserved categories) either Bachelor’s Degree and /or in Master’s Degree in Science/Social in Science/ Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and mathematics with 55% (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC PWD & other reserved categories) marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for consideration in admission to B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed course. For admission in M.Ed the minimum qualification shall be B.Ed.
• The Candidate shall have to choose only one subject (within a subject category) which she/he must have studied in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree, for at least 200 marks and obtained at least 50% in this subject. The subject will henceforth be referred to as the teaching subject in the B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed course.
• There is no restriction on the passing year to apply for B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed course.
• Students in the final year of the Bachelor/Master programme shall also be eligible to apply for B.Ed admission; however, their candidature shall be subject to the submission of final results at the time of admission and meeting the marks percentage criteria mentioned.

Jharkhand JCECEB B.Ed Syllabus / Exam Pattern

• • The written exam has a total of 100 MCQs of 100 marks.
  • The exam has Language Proficiency 30 MCQs, Teaching Aptitude 40 MCQs, and Reasoning Ability 30 MCQs.
  • There will be negative marking of 1/4.
