Who Should Apply for the Indian Army Technical Graduate Course (TGC-144)?
Candidate must be an unmarried male.
Candidates should have passed BE/B.Tech /M.Sc Computer Science in the notified Engineering streams as listed under Para 3 of this notification.
Candidates who are in studying in the final year of Engineering degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply and they will be required to submit proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination alongwith marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 Jan 2027 to TGC Entry, West Block III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA).
Such candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) as notified from time to time, as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate. Candidates with an Engineering Degree from a foreign country are not eligible to apply.

Stipend during Training: 56,400/- p.m while at IMA only
Rank after Training: Lieutenant
Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100-1,77,500
Salary on Commissioning: CTC approx. 17-18 Lac per annum
Pay Level: Level 10 in the Pay matrix, Excluding Free Medical cover & Travel to Home town once a year
Military Service Pay (MSP): Rs. 15,500/- p.m
