Who Should Apply for the EIL Deputy Manager?

Deputy Manager (Inspection)-Mechanical

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65% marks
• Candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the inspection of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns/towers, reactors, and other major fabricated static equipment manufactured as per ASME or Pumps, compressor etc manufactured and tested as per API for refinery and petrochemical services. Sound knowledge of welding processes and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and codes are desirable. Qualification in NDT (ASNT Level II / Level III) in relevant methods such as RT, UT, PT, MT. Welding-related qualification (CSWIP / AWS / equivalent) will be preferred.

Deputy Manager (Inspection)-Electrical

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering with minimum 65% marks
• Candidate should have a minimum of 4 years experience in Inspection of Electrical equipment like Switch Boards, Motors, Transformers, alternators, synchronous Generators, Variable Frequency Drives, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Electrical Control System, Battery Chargers, power cables, control cables, Electrical Bulk items like light fittings, junction boxes, cable jointing kits, cable glands etc., Knowledge of various IEC, NEC, IS codes is essential. Familiarity with flame-proof design, certification, and approvals for electrical equipment would be preferred. Knowledge of inspection of instrumentation items like field instruments, DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems will be an added advantage.
