DSSSB TGT Teacher Eligibility Criteria

• 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized University/ Institute (the concerned subject should have been studied for at least 2 years); OR
• Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University/Institute with at least 50 percent marks in either bachelor’s degree or master’s degree; OR
• 4-year integrated programme /course /degree of B.EI.ED/B.Sc.B.Ed/B.A.B.Ed from any NCTE-recognized Institution (the concerned subject should have been studied for at least 3 years).
• 2. B.Ed or three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed. From a recognized University/Institute (No Separate B.Ed/B.Ed-M.Ed. is required in the case of 4 years integrated course of B.El.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed/ B.A.B.Ed).
• 3. Pass the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) Conducted by CBSE.

For Drawing Teacher

• Five years’ Diploma in Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art from a university/institute recognized by the Government of India. OR
• Master’s Degree in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art from a recognized university. OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Drawing/Painting/Fine Art plus Two years’ full time Diploma in Painting/Fine Art from a recognized university/institution.

For Special Education Teacher

• 1. Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. with a two-year diploma in special education or post-graduate professional diploma in special education. OR
• Any other equivalent qualification approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
• 2. Qualifying CTET conducted by CBSE is Compulsory for appointment as a teacher.

How to Apply for DSSSB TGT Teacher 2025

1. Candidates need to visit the official website of the DSSSB https://dsssbonline.nic.in or the link given in the link section.
2. The candidates must go through the INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING ONLINE carefully while filling up the Online Application Form for the post concerned.
3. The candidates must submit their application through the Online Mode only. No other mode of application shall be accepted. Applications received through any other mode, i.e., by post/by hand/by mail, etc., will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
4. Candidates are advised in their interest to submit the online application much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to log in to the Board’s website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days. DSSSB will not be responsible for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the stipulated time limit for any reason(s) stated to be beyond their control.
5. Before submission of the online application, candidates must check and ensure that they have filled in the correct details in each field of the online application form. Once the online application form is submitted, no request for change/ correction/ modification (including change of category) will be entertained or allowed under any circumstances. Requests received in this regard in any form, like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc., shall not be entertained, and no correspondence will be made in this regard. Candidates will be responsible for any mistakes in the data on the application form and the fee paid by him/her.
