BSNL Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) Exam Pattern

- The Computer-Based test (CBT) has 3 sections.
- Sections I & II each have 50 Questions of 200 Marks in the Engineering Stream.
- Section III has 20 Questions of 80 marks in the General Ability Test.
- CBT has a total of 120 questions of 480 marks.
- Total exam duration is 3 hours.
- There will be a negative marking of -1 mark for each wrong question.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks in each Section shall be 40%, and overall minimum Qualifying Marks in all three sections combined shall be 50 % for Unreserved Candidates and OBC (CL) Candidates. For SC/ST, OBC (NCL), PwBD, and EWS Candidates, there shall be relaxation in Qualifying Marks and the Minimum Qualifying Marks in each Section shall be 35%, and overall minimum Qualifying Marks in all three sections combined shall be 45%.
