UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Educational Qualification Criteria
Candidates must possess the prescribed mandatory qualifications on or before the closing date (05 October 2026):
- Mandatory Qualifying Score: Must have appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and possess a valid scorecard with positive (non-zero) marks.
- Essential Academic Qualifications:
- Passed Intermediate (10+2) examination with Science (Biology stream) from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Must possess a Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy (02 Years and 03 Months) from any university or institution established by law in India.
- Registration in the council/institution (where available). (Note: In Uttar Pradesh, the Veterinary Pharmacy Council is currently not established; hence, council registration is not required at present as clarified in the notification).
- Good working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
- Preferential Qualifications (Adhimani Aharta):
- Minimum 2 years of service in the Territorial Army.
- National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate.
UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Pay Scale and Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix of the Government of Uttar Pradesh:
- Pay Matrix Level: Pay Level-5
- Pay Scale Range: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300/- per month
- Nature of Appointment: Permanent / Temporary
- Allowances: Standard Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Facilities, and other state benefits as per service rules.
UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection is finalized strictly based on merit secured in the Main Written Examination:
- Shortlisting via PET-2025: Candidates will be shortlisted category-wise at a ratio of 15 times the advertised vacancies based on their normalized PET-2025 scores.
