IGDTUW Delhi Faculty Educational Qualification & Experience Criteria
Qualifications must be possessed as on the closing date (21 August 2026):
- Assistant Professor (CSE / IT / ECE / MAE): B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. Ph.D. in relevant branch is desirable.
- Assistant Professor (Architecture / Planning): Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Planning (min 60% marks) with 3 years of experience OR B.Arch & M.Arch/M.Plan with 1 year experience. Valid CoA registration required for Architecture.
- Associate Professor (Engineering / Tech): Ph.D. Degree in relevant field with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level + Minimum 8 years teaching/research/industry experience (at least 2 years post-Ph.D.) + Minimum 6 research publications in SCI/UGC list.
- Professor (Engineering / Tech): Ph.D. Degree in relevant field with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level + Minimum 10 years of experience (at least 3 years as Associate Professor) + Minimum 10 research publications in SCI/UGC list (or 6 publications + 2 Ph.D.s guided).

IGDTUW Delhi Faculty Selection Process Details
- Shortlisting / Screening: Applications will be screened based on academic credentials, research performance, and experience as per university criteria. A written screening test may be conducted for Assistant Professor posts if needed.
- Departmental Presentation: Shortlisted candidates will be required to make a presentation before a departmental committee prior to the final interview.
- Personal Interview: Final evaluation is conducted by the Selection Committee, combining 50% weightage for academic/research credentials and 50% weightage for interview & teaching feedback.
