IBPS Clerk CRP CSA-XVI Application 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the detailed notification for the Common Recruitment Process for Customer Service Associates (CRP CSA-XVI) for vacancies in the financial year 2027-28.

Through this national-level examination, thousands of candidates will be recruited as Customer Service Associates (CSA – Clerical Cadre) across 11 participating Public Sector Banks throughout India. Eligible candidates possessing any Graduation degree can apply online via the official IBPS portal.

Recruitment is conducted for clerical positions in the following 11 Public Sector Banks:

Candidates must fulfill all minimum academic qualifications on or before 21 August 2026:

  1. Academic Degree: A Graduation Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  2. Local Language Proficiency (LLPT): Candidates applying for vacancies in a particular State/UT must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the specified local language of that State/UT. (Exempted if local language was studied in 10th standard or higher).
  3. Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge of computer systems is mandatory. Candidates should possess a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/language or have studied Computer/IT as a subject in High School/College.

Selected candidates are appointed in the Clerical Cadre under the 12th Bipartite Settlement:

  • Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – 1340/3 – 28070 – 1650/3 – 33020 – 2000/4 – 41020 – 2340/7 – 57400 – 4400/1 – 61800 – 2680/1 – ₹64,480/- per month.
  • Allowances: Eligible for DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, Special Allowance, and other perquisites as per bank rules.

Selection to the post of Customer Service Associate (CSA) is conducted through a two-tier online examination followed by language verification:

  1. Online Preliminary Examination: Objective screening test of 100 Marks.
  2. Online Main Examination: Objective test of 200 Marks. Final merit listing is based ONLY on scores obtained in the Main Examination.
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Conducted by the allotted bank before joining. It is qualifying in nature.

  • Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main exams.

  2. Click on “CRP CSA” -> “Apply Online for CRP-Customer Service Associates (CRP-CSA-XVI)”.
  3. Click on “Click Here for New Registration” and enter basic details to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  4. Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, state preference, and bank preferences carefully.
  5. Upload clear scanned copies of required documents:
    • Photograph: Passport-size color photo (20kb to 50kb) + Live photo capture via webcam/mobile.
    • Signature: Signed on white paper in black ink (10kb to 20kb, NOT in CAPITAL letters).
    • Left Thumb Impression: Blue/black ink on white paper (20kb to 50kb).
    • Handwritten Declaration: Written in English on white paper with black ink (50kb to 100kb).
    • 10th Standard Certificate / Marksheet: PDF format (up to 500kb).
  6. Pay the prescribed application fee online using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  7. Submit the form on or before 21 August 2026 and print out a copy of the application form and e-receipt for future document verification.
