BTSC Assistant Bacteriologist & Bench Chemist Educational Qualification Criteria
Qualifications must be completed from a recognized University/Institute on or before 23 August 2026:
- Assistant Bacteriologist (Advt. No. 25/2026): Must possess an M.D. in Microbiology OR M.Sc in Microbiology OR M.Pharm degree from a recognized University.
- Technician – Bench Chemist (Advt. No. 26/2026): Must possess a D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree from a recognized University AND minimum 6 months of work experience in drug testing and analysis.

Selection will be made based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and contractual work experience:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 75 Marks Maximum Weightage.
- Contractual Work Experience: 25 Marks Maximum Weightage (5 marks per completed year of service in non-private/government laboratories in Bihar on contract basis).
