Who Should Apply for SSB Constable Tradesman?

For Constable (Veterinary)

10th class pass with Science as the main subject from a recognised Board, and
One year of experience in the treatment of different species of animals in a recognised Veterinary Hospital.

Constable (Driver) only for males

10th class pass from a recognised Board, and
Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

Constable (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter)

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board with.
Two years of work experience in respective trades; or
One-year certificate course from a recognised Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year of experience in the trade; or
Two-year Diploma from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the trade or a similar trade.
Must qualify for the trade test.

Constable (Carpenter)

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board;
Two years of work experience in the respective trade; or
one-year certificate course from a recognised Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year of experience in the respective trade; or
Two-year Diploma from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or similar trade; and
Must qualify for the trade test.

Constable (Nursing Orderly)

10th class pass from a recognised Board;
First Aid certificate course from St. John’s Ambulance Organisation or Red Cross Society of India; and
Working experience of a minimum of one year as a Nursing Orderly in a minimum fifty-bedded Hospital or Institution recognised by the Central Government or State Governments.
