Educational Qualification
Science Subjects
- Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an Education Board recognised by the Central, State, and UT with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from Central, State, and UT recognised Polytechnic institutions with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course). OR
- Passed Two years Vocational course with a non-vocational subject, viz. Physics and Mathematics from the Education Board recognised by the Central, State, and UT with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the invocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the invocational course).
Other than Science Subjects

- An individual should have represented the country in Junior/ Senior International competitions recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOA) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned in Para 1. OR
- An individual should have attained the minimum standard of fifthplaceintheJunior National competitions, representing any State/ Union Territory in Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University competitions or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of thesportsdisciplinesmentioned at Para 1. OR
- In team events, the individual should have represented the State/ UTinJunior/Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University Championship or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned in Para 1.
- For Cricket Discipline Only. Candidates who have played All India Inter-University or BCCI Trophies – U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy, or higher participation are only eligible to apply.
- For Shooting Discipline Only. Candidates who have an International Medal/Participation representing India OR have attained the national ranking(NSCC) inJunior/Senior Men category up to 50 th rank in 10M Air Pistol/ 10MAir Rifle/ 50MRifle3P/25MRapid Fire pistol.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Sports Medical Standards
- Height- Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.
- Weight- Weight should be Proportionate to height and age, as applicable for IAF.
- Chest- The chest wall should be well-proportioned and well-developed. Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cms, and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cms.
- Hearing- Candidate should have normal hearing, i.e., able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
- Dental- Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points. Dental Implants and Implant-Supported Prosthesis will not be awarded any dental points. Candidates wearing fixed or removable orthodontic appliances will be declared unfit.
- Visual Standards-

- General Health- Candidate should be fit for the Air Force, must conform to the medical standards, and should be of normal anatomy without loss or deformity of any appendages. He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or communicable disease, infection, and skin ailments. Candidates shall be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
- Gender- Any candidate found to have predominant characteristics of the opposite gender as evident on external physical examination will be rejected as Unfit. Any candidate having undergone gender reassignment surgery will be declared Unfit.
