SBI Circle-Based Officers Eligibility Criteria

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, or A Cost Accountant would also be eligible.

Note: The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, and a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute, indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website, will be taken as the date of passing.

SBI Circle-Based Officers Salary Details

Presently, the starting basic pay is 48,480/- in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160- 2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

How to Apply for SBI Circle-Based Officers 2026

Candidates need to visit the official website of the State Bank of India or the link given in the link section.
Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. An online application will not be registered unless the candidate uploads his/ her photo and signature as specified on the online registration page (under ‘How to Upload Document’).
Candidates should fill out the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, the candidate should submit it. In the event of the candidate not being able to fill in the application in one go, he can save the information already entered. When the information/ application is saved, a provisional registration number and password are generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved application using the registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility of editing the saved information will be available three times only. Once the application is filled out completely, the candidate should submit the form and proceed with online payment of the fee.
After registering online, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the system-generated online application forms.
