(A) Engineering/Technology:- (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer, Paint Technology, Plastic Mould Technology, Textile Technology, Footwear, Textile Chemistry, Leather Technology, Instrumentation and Control )

For Direct Recruitment of Lecturer (Level-9A, Entry Pay 56100/-)
B.E/B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline (as enumerated in the list of AICTE-approved Diploma Courses) with First Class.

For Direct Recruitment of Lecturer (Level-10, Entry Pay 57700/-)  Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines (as enumerated in the list of AICTE-approved Diploma Courses) with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.

(B) Architecture:-
For Direct Recruitment of Lecturer (Level-9A, Entry Pay 56100/-)
B.Arch. or a 4-year Degree in an allied field with First Class.

(C) Workshop Superintendent:-
For Direct Recruitment of Lecturer (Level-9A, Entry Pay 56100/-)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a first class.

For Direct Recruitment of Lecturer (Level-10, Entry Pay 57700/-)
Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering (as enumerated in the list of AICTE-approved Diploma Courses) with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.

Lecturer (Non-Engineering) Government Polytechnics/Government Leather Institute/ Northern Regional Institute of Printing Technology:-

Sciences and Humanities:-
(Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics)

Master’s degree in an appropriate subject with First Class.

Preferential Qualifications:-

There will be no marks for preferential qualification; however, in case two or more candidates get equal marks, the candidates having preferential qualification will be given preference under clause 3.4

1. Have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years,
2. Have obtained a “B” certificate of the National Cadet Corps.
3. If a class/division is not awarded, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division.

How to Apply for UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer 2025

Go to the official website of UPPSC or the link given in the link section.

‘Online Application will be completed in the following Stages:-

First Stage:- On clicking ‘Apply’, ‘Authenticate with O.T.R.’ will be displayed to the examination, and on clicking ‘Authenticate with O.T.R.’, ‘Have You Completed Your O.T.R. Registration’ will be displayed, in which the candidate will have to tick ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. If the candidate:-

(i) Ticks on ‘Yes’ and clicks on ‘Go’ button, then ‘Enter your O.T.R. Number’ will be displayed, wherein he/she has to fill in the O.T.R. Number and click on ‘Proceed’ button.  On clicking the ‘Proceed’ button, ‘Click here to Authenticate’ will be displayed, clicking whereupon the candidate may authenticate through OTP received on his/her registered mobile no./email ID or O.T.R. password. Having completed the process of Authentication, all personal details of the candidate (as filled in O.T.R.) will be displayed automatically. The candidate will have to fill out only the essential qualifications as required for the post.

(ii) Ticks on ‘No’ and clicks on ‘Go’ button then:- (a) First of all, the candidate has to obtain a One Time Registration Number from O.T.R. Web-portal (https://otr.pariksha.nic.in) of the Commission. (b) After obtaining the O.T.R. number, the candidate will have to apply online according to the process adopted in the First Stage.

Second Stage: After the First Stage procedure is completed, the ‘Applicant Dashboard’ will be automatically displayed on the screen. The candidate will have to click on ‘Submit Details’ under ‘Application Part-2’ against the applied post; thereafter, the permanent and correspondence address, along with the application form, will automatically be displayed on the screen from O.T.R., along with the preferential qualifications prescribed for the post. The candidate will have to choose the Yes/No option against each preferential qualification.

Third Stage:- After the completion of the procedure of second stage, ‘Fee Confirmation Window’ will automatically be displayed on the screen under which upon clicking on ‘Yes’ option in front of ‘Proceed for fee payment’ Home page of ‘SBI MOPS’ will be displayed comprising of 03 modes of payment:- (i) NET BANKING (ii) CARD PAYMENTS and (iii) OTHER PAYMENT MODES.

After making payment, the candidate takes a printout of the ‘Payment Transaction Slip’ for future.

Fourth Stage: After completing the procedure of the Third Stage, the candidate’s application form will automatically be displayed on the screen, from which the candidate can obtain a printout.
