NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Exam will be conducted on 18 December 2025 for 5 subjects. The online application started from 25 September 2025 for JRF, Assistant Professor, and Ph.D. admissions. Candidates must read the official notification before applying.

NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• General/ Unreserved/ General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognized universities/ institutions are eligible for this Test. (For OBC NCL/ SC/ ST/PH, 50% marks)
• The candidates having passed a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS.
• Candidates who are in their final year can apply.

• Caste Certificate
• Income Certificate for EWS
• Domicile Certificate

How to Apply for NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Exam

1. Candidates need to visit the official website or the link given in the link section.
2. Register for Online Form submission using your Email ID and Mobile Number, and note down the system-generated Application Number.
3. Complete the Online Application Form by filling in all required details such as name, Date of Birth, father’s Name, and other details.
4. Upload scanned Documents, i.e., image, signature, Category certificate, and other required.
5. Pay the required fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI and keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
6. After the submission of the Online Application Form (i.e., successful completion of Step 3), the Confirmation Page of the Application Form should be downloaded, and a printout of the same may be retained for future reference. The Confirmation Page of the online application form can be generated only after the candidate has made a successful payment.
