FRI Dehradun Group C Application 2026: The Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun, has released a notification for the posts of Library Information Assistant, Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research), Stenographer Grade II, Technician (Field/Lab Research), Store Keeper, Technician (Maintenance), Lower Division Clerk, Forest Guard, and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). Who Should Apply for the FRI Dehradun Group C?

Library Information Assistant

• Graduated from a recognized University with a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science from recognized University.

Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research)

• Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized University with Botany/Zoology/Forestry /Environment /Ecology /Bio Technology/ Genetics/MicroBiology /Geology/ Bio-Chemistry as one of the subjects.

Stenographer Grade II

1. 12th class certificate from a recognized Board
2. Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography in English/Hindi.
3. Certificate Course in Computer Applications, typing speed 5 key depression for each word.

Technician (Field/Lab Research)

• 10+2 in Science with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Store Keeper

• 12 passes from a recognized board.

Technician (Maintenanсе)

• Matriculation from a recognized Board with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or a Certificate course from a Govt. recognized Institute.

Lower Division Clerk

1. 12th class certificate from a recognized Board
2. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer

Forest Guard

• 12th Pass with Science from a Government-recognized Board.
• Physical Standard:

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• Essential: 10th standard pass from a recognized Board/recognized school.
• Desirable: 3 years or more experience in the relevant field.

FRI Dehradun Group C Exam Pattern

• • The Stage I CBT has 100 multiple-choice questions of 100 marks. The exam duration is 3 hours for posts 1 to 3 and 2 hours for posts 4 to 9.
  • There is a negative marking of 1/3rd for posts 1 to 3 and 1/4th for posts 4 to 9.
  • Stage-II has a Descriptive Test of 50 marks. The exam duration is 45 minutes.
