QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SOCIAL WORKER MEMBERS OF THE JUVENILE JUSTICE BOARD:

shall have a degree, preferably, in child psychology or psychiatry or sociology or health sciences or education or in the field of law from any recognised Indian University.
shall have at least seven years of experience working with children in the field of education, health or welfare activities or should be a practising professional with a degree in the field of child psychology or psychiatry, sociology or law.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE CHILD WELFARE COMMITTEE:

Should have a Degree, preferably in child psychology, psychiatry, law, social work, sociology, human health, education, human development, medicine, or special education for differently abled children, from any recognised Indian University.
Shall have a minimum of seven years of experience working with children in the field of health, education or welfare activities about children or should be a practising professional with a degree in child psychology or psychiatry, law, social work, sociology, human health, education, human development or special education for differently abled children.
