VIT Admission 2026 Application Fee
- General: Rs. 1350/-
- OBC, EWS: Rs. 1350/-
- SC, ST, PH: Rs. 1350/-
- For test centers abroad, the fee to be paid is the equivalent of USD 90 in INR.
- The candidates are required to deposit the requisite examination fees online through Internet Banking, Debit, or Credit Card.
Age Limit
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2004 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2026. The date of birth as recorded in the High School Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates who fail to produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling shall be disqualified.
VIT Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2026 should have either completed or shall be appearing in any one of the following qualifying examinations, in 2026:
- The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to the 10+2 examination. ii.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. iii. iv.
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- The High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel is regulated by the UK. For PCM: Physics & Mathematics – A Level/ Chemistry – A/AS Level and English @ A/AS Level. For PCB: Physics & Biology – A Level/ Chemistry – A/AS Level and English @ A/AS Level.
- High School Certificate Examination of the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. For PCM: Physics & Mathematics – HL, Chemistry – SL/HL, For PCB: Physics & Biology – HL, Chemistry – SL/HL
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by the Central Board.
- Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India should produce an equivalence certificate to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.
◆ Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time, and Formal Education with English as one of the subjects are eligible to apply.
◆ For Indian nationals, attending VITEEE 2026 is mandatory to be eligible for B. Tech. admission.

How to Apply for the VIT Admission 2026 Exam
- Candidates need to visit the official website of VIT or the link given in the link section.
- Register for Online Form submission using your Email ID and Mobile Number, and note down the system-generated Application Number.
- Complete the Online Application Form by filling in all required details such as name, Date of Birth, father’s Name, and other details.
- Upload scanned Documents, i.e., image, signature, Category certificate, and other required.
- Pay the required fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI, and keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
- After the submission of the Online Application Form (i.e., successful completion of Step 3), the Confirmation Page of the Application Form should be downloaded, and a printout of the same may be retained for future reference. The Confirmation Page of the online application form can be generated only after the candidate has made a successful payment.
