UP Police SI Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Graduation degree from any University established by law in India or any qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualifications:-

There will be no marks for preferential qualification; however, in case two or more candidates get equal marks, the candidates having preferential qualification will be given preference under clause 3.4

1. Have obtained an “O” level certificate in Computer from DOEACC/NIELIT Society, OR
2. Have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years,
3. Have obtained a “B” certificate of the National Cadet Corps.

Note: Candidates with more than one preferential qualification will be entitled to only one preferential qualification.

How to Apply for UP Police SI 2025

1. Candidates need to visit the official website of the UPPRPB or the link given in the link section.
2. In the process of online application, the candidates will first register themselves on OTR. After that, the candidates will again visit the board’s website and submit their application form by filling it out with complete details. After filling out the application form completely, the fee will be paid online.
3. The online application process will be in two phases. First, every candidate is required to register themselves in OTR (One Time Registration). Only after that, the candidate will be able to fill out the application form for various recruitments available online, organized by UPPRPB (Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board).
4. In order to ensure the purity of the examination process, in the public interest, Aadhaar-based OTP (Authentication) will be used for verification of the identity of the candidate, etc. To avoid any inconvenience during the various stages of the recruitment process, starting from the application stage, all candidates must update their Aadhaar card data and the mobile number registered in it. 5. All the candidates should carefully understand the instructions for filling up the application form and apply accordingly.
