RSSB Rajasthan Clerk / Junior Assistant Eligibility Criteria

(i) Senior Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent Examination. AND
(ii) “O” or Higher Level certificate course conducted by DOEACC under the control of the Department of Electronics, Government of India. OR
Certificate course on computer concepts by NIELIT, New Delhi. OR
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificate is organized under the National/ State council or the Vocational Training Scheme. OR
Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science /Computer application from a university established by law in India or from an institution recognized by the Government. OR
Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in the Country, with the computer Science/ Computer Application as one of the subjects. OR
Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by the Government. OR
Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) is conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, under the control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited. OR
Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the government. Explanation: The decision of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board or the Appointing Authority, as the case may be, regarding the qualification or higher qualification of computer possessed by a candidate shall be final.”
(iii) Knowledge of working in Hindi written in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture are required.

RSSB Rajasthan Clerk / Junior Assistant Salary Details

Salary: According to the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission constituted by the state government, the pay scale for a Clerk / Junior Assistant is fixed at Pay Matrix Level-5. During the probationary period, a fixed monthly remuneration will be payable as per the state government’s orders.

How to Apply for RSSB Rajasthan Clerk / Junior Assistant 2026

Go to the official website of RSSB, the SSO Portal, or the link given in the link section.

(A) After logging in through the SSO portal, the candidate must select the Recruitment Portal available under Citizen Apps (G2C). Then, the candidate will click on “Apply Now”. If the candidate has not yet paid the one-time registration fee for OTR (One Time Registration), they must first go to the OTR (One Time Registration) tab, enter their category (Unreserved (UR) or Reserved (EWS/OBC-NC/MBC-NC/SC/ST/SAH) category), disability status, and home state details, and then pay the prescribed fee.

(B) In the online application, candidates will only be able to fill in options corresponding to the category, disability status, and home state they selected during the One Time Registration (OTR) process. Therefore, candidates should fill out the OTR process carefully. After completing the OTR process, candidates will be able to apply through their SSO ID.

(C) The applicant is required to capture a live photo in the application form and submit the application. Applicants must also fill in their visible body marks in the online application. During the recruitment application process, candidates will have to verify their identity in the application form, for which they will have the option to choose one of the following verification methods.

Aadhaar Card-Based Verification:
If the candidate generates the OTR (One Time Registration) using their Aadhaar card, no further verification will be required.
If the OTR (One Time Registration) is generated through SSO/Jan-Aadhaar, the candidate will have to verify the following information in the application form:
The candidate must enter their Aadhaar number, and then the information entered in the data (candidate’s name, father’s name, and date of birth) will be verified.

(D) If an Aadhaar card is not available, the applicant must declare their consent in the application form. After making this declaration, the applicant will verify their name, father’s name, and date of birth (profile details) by choosing one of the following three options:

Original Certificate Option: The candidate will enter the serial number of their original certificate, and then click on the “Fetch” button. The data will then be verified against the data of the Domicile/Bonafide certificates (original certificates).
Option to link with 10th Board Marksheet through DigiLocker: The candidate will enter the name of their 10th class board, roll number, and the year in which they passed the 10th class, and then self-verify the details.
If the candidate is unable to verify their details through any of the above processes, they must make the following declaration: “I am unable to verify my profile details. Candidates will be present at the examination center one and a half hours before the scheduled time for biometric verification.”

After verification, as mentioned, the candidate will be able to fill out the application through the prescribed procedure.
