• This is a one-time registration (OTR) fee. Candidates who paid this fee before need not pay again.

RPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria

For Post No. 1 to 27

1. A.(i) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied Subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET, or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme before July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following Conditions:- (a)

1. The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode; (b)
2. The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners; (c)
3. An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; (d)
4. The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal; (e)
5. The candidate has presented at least two papers based or is/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/CSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.

The fulfillment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.

Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master’s Programs in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.

OR

B. The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i)

1. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
2. the Times Higher Education (THE) or
3. The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).

2. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

For Post No. 28 to 30

1.A.(i) Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed) in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/foreign University.

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET, or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and their amendments from time to time, as the case may be. OR

B. A traditional or a professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the subject concerned, having a Bachelor’s degree,
who has:

1. studied under a noted/reputed traditional Master(s)/Artist(s)
2. Has been an “A” grade artist of AIR/Doordarshan;
3. Can explain, with logical reasoning, the subject concerned; and
4. Has adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in the discipline concerned.

2. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

How to Apply for RPSC Assistant Professor 2025

Go to the official website of RSSB or the SSO Portal, or the link given in the link section.

(A) एस.एस.ओ पोर्टल से Login करने के उपरांत Citizen Apps (G2C) में उपलब्ध Recruitment Portal का चयन करना होगा। इसके बाद अभ्यर्थी Apply Now पर क्लिक करेगा। यदि अभ्यर्थी द्वारा OTR (One Time Registration) का एकबारीय पंजीयन शुल्क जमा नहीं किया गया है तो अभ्यर्थी को सर्वप्रथम OTR (One Time Registration) टैब पर अपनी श्रेणी (Unreserved (UR) अथवा Reserved (EWS/OBC-NC/MBC-NC/SC/ST/SAH) श्रेणी, दिव्यांगता की स्थिति व गृह राज्य का विवरण दर्ज करके निर्धारित शुल्क का भुगतान करना होगा।

(B) ऑनलाईन आवेदन में अभ्यर्थी को OTR (One Time Registration) के समय भरी गई श्रेणी, दिव्यांगता की स्थिति व गृह राज्य के अनुरूप ही Options भरने हेतु मिलेंगें। अतः अभ्यर्थी OTR (One Time Registration) प्रक्रिया को सावधानी से भरें। OTR प्रक्रिया को पूरा करने के बाद अभ्यर्थी SSO ID के माध्यम से आवेदन कर सकेगा।

(C) आवेदक को आवेदन पत्र में लाइव फोटो Capture कर आवेदन को Submit किया जाना आवश्यक है। आवेदक को ऑनलाईन आवेदन में शारीरिक दृश्य चिन्ह (visible body mark) भरना अनिवार्य है। भर्ती के लिए आवेदन प्रक्रिया के दौरान, उम्मीदवारों  को स्वयं की पहचान को आवेदन पत्र में सत्यापित करना होगा जिस हेतु उसके पास निम्नलिखित सत्यापन विधियों में से किसी एक विधि का चयन करने का विकल्प उपलब्ध होगा

i. आधार कार्ड आधारित सत्यापन:-
ii. यदि अभ्यर्थी अपने आधार कार्ड का उपयोग करके OTR (One Time Registration)जेनरेट करता है, तो किसी और माध्यम से सत्यापन की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी।
iii. यदि OTR (One Time Registration)SSO/जन-आधार के माध्यम से जेनरेट होता है, तो उम्मीदवार को आवेदन पत्र में निम्नलिखित जानकारी का सत्यापन करना होगा –
अभ्यर्थी स्वयं का आधार नंबर दर्ज करें और फिर डेटा में दर्ज की गई जानकारी (अभ्यर्थी का नाम, पिताजी का नाम, और जन्मतिथि) का सत्यापन किया जावेगा।

(D) यदि आधार कार्ड नहीं है, तो अभ्यर्थी को आवेदन पत्र में इस हेतु निर्धारित सहमति की घोषणा करनी होगी। घोषणा करने के बाद अभ्यर्थी निम्नलिखित तीन में से किसी एक विकल्प का चयन कर स्वयं का नाम, पिताजी का नाम, और जन्मतिथि (प्रोफाइल विवरण) को सत्यापित करेगा :-

1. मूल प्रमाण पत्र विकल्पः- अभ्यर्थी अपने मूल प्रमाण पत्र का क्रमांक दर्ज करेगा उसके पश्चात् Fetch बटन पर क्लिक करने पर डोमिसाइल / बोनाफाईड प्रमाण पत्रों (मूल प्रमाण पत्र) के डाटा से सत्यापित किया जाएगा।
2. डिजिलॉकर के माध्यम से 10वीं बोर्ड मार्कशीट से जोड़ने का विकल्प :- अभ्यर्थी अपने दसवीं कक्षा के बोर्ड का नाम, रोल नम्बर व जिस वर्ष में दसवीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण की है, उसका विवरण दर्ज कर स्वयं सत्यापित करेगा।
3. यदिअभ्यर्थी उपरोक्त किसी भी प्रक्रिया से स्वयं के विवरण को सत्यापित करने में असमर्थ है तो उसे निम्न घोषणा करनी होगी:-“मैं अपनी प्रोफाइल विवरण सत्यापित करने में असमर्थ हूँ इसलिए मैं परीक्षा हेतु निर्धारित समय से डेढ़ ह घंटे पहले परीक्षा केन्द्र पर बायोमैट्रिक सत्यापन हेतु उपस्थित होऊंगां/होऊँगी”

उक्तानुसार सत्यापन हो जाने के पश्चात् अभ्यर्थी निर्धारित प्रक्रिया से आवेदन भर सकेगा।
