Punjab Group C Clerk and Clerk I.T. Eligibility Criteria

For the vacancies of Clerk/Clerk under

As per The Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service)
Rules, 1994 (as amended from time to time):-

1. Should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institution; and
2. Possesses at least One Hundred and Twenty Hours of course with hands-on experience in the use of a Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a government-recognised institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified. OR
3. Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to an ‘O’ Level certificate of the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of the Government of India. and (III)
4. Qualifies a test in Punjabi (In Unicode Compliant Font Raavi ) and English typing to be held by the Board or the appointing authority or the Department of Information Technology, as the case may be, at a speed of thirty words per minute before his appointment (As specified in The Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994) and
5. Must have passed the 10th standard Punjabi as per the provisions made in the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994.

1. Should possess a full-time degree of BCA or B.Sc IT or B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognised university or institution; and:
2. Qualifies a test in Punjabi and English typing to be held by the recruiting authority at the speed of thirty words per minute or at such speed as may be specified by the Punjab Government from time to time, and other conditions applicable as per the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Services)Rules, 1994, as amended from time to time.
3. Must have passed the 10th standard Punjabi as per the provisions made in the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994.
