MPPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria

1. Master’s/ Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University for Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Science, Languages, Streams (or where equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is applicable) or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. In addition to fulfilling the above eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission or CSIR or equivalent tests accredited by the UGC, such as SLET/SET, etc. Note: Only successful candidates of the SET examination conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible. SLET/SET successful candidates from other states will not qualify.
3. Notwithstanding anything stated in sub-sections (i) and (ii) above, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or by such subsequent regulations as may be notified by the University Grants Commission.
