2. Along with the above-mentioned educational qualification, the following experience (working in the regular establishment of the Institute) is essential in the operation and maintenance of thermal power generation units (coal-based) having a generation capacity of 210 MW or more in State/Central Government PSUs or IPPs (excluding captive plants):

Minimum 3 years of work experience in the post of Assistant Engineer (Production) equivalent to a Manager or higher post. Or

Minimum 5 years of work experience in the post of Junior Engineer (Plant) equivalent to (Assistant Manager) or higher post.

2. Along with the above-mentioned educational qualification, the following experience (working in the regular establishment of the Institute) is essential in the operation and maintenance of thermal power generation units (coal-based) having a generation capacity of 210 MW or more in State/Central Government PSUs or IPPs (excluding captive plants):

Minimum 3 years of work experience in the post of Assistant Engineer (Production) equivalent to a Manager or higher post. Or

Minimum 5 years of work experience in the post of Junior Engineer (Plant) equivalent to (Assistant Manager) or higher post.

2. Along with the above-mentioned educational qualification, the following experience (working in the regular establishment of the Institute) is essential in the operation and maintenance of thermal power generation units (coal-based) having a generation capacity of 210 MW or more in State/Central Government PSUs or IPPs (excluding captive plants):

Along with the above-mentioned educational qualification, the following experience (working in the regular establishment of the Institute) is essential in the operation and maintenance of thermal power generation units (coal-based) having a generation capacity of 210 MW or more in State/Central Government PSUs or IPPs (excluding captive plants):

Minimum 3 years of work experience in the post of Junior Engineer (Plant) equivalent to a Manager or higher post. Or

Plant Assistant/Senior Plant Assistant (Technician – ITI equivalent or higher) or higher post with minimum 5 years of work experience

Along with the above-mentioned educational qualification, the following experience (working in the regular establishment of the Institute) is essential in the operation and maintenance of thermal power generation units (coal-based) having a generation capacity of 210 MW or more in State/Central Government PSUs or IPPs (excluding captive plants):

Minimum 3 years of work experience in the post of Junior Engineer (Plant) equivalent to a Manager or higher post. Or

Plant Assistant/Senior Plant Assistant (Technician – ITI equivalent or higher) or higher post with minimum 5 years of work experience

2. Certificate of having completed a one-year Computer Diploma from one of the following recognized institutions is mandatory:-

1. Diploma from any University recognized by the UGC.
2. Diploma from any Open University recognized by the UGC.
3. Diploma in Management from NIELIT (formerly DOEACC).
4. Modern Office Management Course from Government Polytechnic College.
5. One year Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) certificate from a recognized ITI.

In addition to the Computer Diploma from the above recognized institutions, the following qualifications will also be valid:-

1. B.E. (CSE/IT)/ M.C.A./ B.C.A./ M.Sc. (IT/CS)/ B.Sc. (IT/CS)/ M.Tech./ M.E. (IT/CS) passed.
2. Polytechnic Diploma passed in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology from an institute recognized by AICTE.

3. A CPCT passing certificate issued by MPSEDC (formerly MAP-IT) is mandatory. Applicants must have a valid CPCT score card, which must include passing the same exam in two subjects (Computer Skills and Hindi Typing).
