Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification Required for Paper I (Class 1 to 5)
- Candidates who have secured 50% marks in PUC/Senior Secondary or equivalent examination and have passed the second year of the two-year D.EL.Ed. course (by whatever name it is called) or are admitted to the course and are practicing. OR
- Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in PUC/Senior Secondary or equivalent examination. Candidates should have passed or are pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or equivalent examination and have passed or are admitted and practicing a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), OR
- Candidates who should have secured at least 50% marks in their graduation and have passed the second year of the two-year D.EL.Ed. course (by whatever name it is called) or are admitted and practicing. OR
- Candidates who must have secured at least 5% marks in their graduation and have passed B.Ed degree or are admitted and practicing.
Minimum Qualification Required for Paper II (Class 5 to 8)
- Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in their graduation and have passed the second year of the two-year D.El.Ed course (by whatever name it is called) or are admitted to and pursuing the D.EL.Ed course, Or
- Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in their graduation and have passed B.Ed degree or are admitted and studying for B.Ed degree. Or
- Candidates who should have secured at least 50% marks in PUC/Senior Secondary or equivalent examination and have passed a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or are admitted to and pursuing a B.El.Ed course. Or
- Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in their graduation and have passed a two-year B.Ed (Special Education) degree, or are pursuing admission to a B.Ed (Special Education) degree.

- Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card)
- A recent passport-size photo with a white or light-colored background
- Signature on plain white paper using a black or blue pen (not in capital letters)

How to Apply for Karnataka TET 2025
- Candidates need to visit the official website of https://schooleducation.karnataka.gov.in/en or the link given in the link section.
- To get registered, the candidate will enter details such as name, e-mail, category, and mobile number.
- Registered Candidate Log in using their Registration Number and Date of Birth, and fill in all required personal details.
- The candidate fills their Educational qualifications, Address, and other details of the candidate have been asked for.
- Upload photo, signature, and other details in JPG OR PDF Format.
- Make an online payment.
- Make sure the fee submission is made, and make the final submission.
